And I’ve got a hell of an infinite for you. And it’s from Avacyn Restored.
((So, this has happened. Admittedly, I have no idea if I’m going to have to tweak my characterization because of this. Anyhoo, I will not discuss mechanics and playability with this. Other blogs and people who have practice with this sort of thing to talk about that.
I would like to discuss why I think he’s white. So I am going to use this as a soapbox, even if my main blog actually has more followers than this one. But all you people actually care about magic, so, yeah.
To attempt to get to whatever nattering point I am attempting to get to, Sorin has white mana in the monster infested fiasco of Innistrad. Why? Well, everything is going to hell. Literally in some cases. Everything is trying to kill everything, people included. Vampires need people to survive. It has been stated in the past that Sorin, whilst hedonistic and jaded, does realize the importance of long term plans and such. Therefore, he will be attempting to institute some variety of order onto Innistrad in Avacyn’s absence, to ensure that, at the very least, his species remains ‘alive’ into the furtre, which means that the humans remain alive and available to feed on.
This brick of speculation courtesy of Sorin-mod, now back to your regularly scheduled cake.))

This article tells us a little bit of history on Sorin. Give it a read :D

That’s pretty restrictive, artifacts consume most of my toolbox for breaking magic, but… You asked, I’ll answer:
Doubling season is a fantastic card, token production produces faster, things get bigger faster (and with infect and wither smaller faster too), but what I love about this card is it’s interaction with planeswalkers. When you use a planeswalker’s plus ability you get to put twice the amount of counters on it. That’s pretty great :D
Even better, this card makes planeswalkers come in with twice as many loyalty counters on it. That means you’re that much closer to setting off a big minus. So let’s add in our white.
Elspeth, Knight-Errant is a pretty awesome planeswalker. She only costs 2 and 2 white. She makes tokens, she makes big and flying, and with doubling season she can be thrown down to instantly make pretty much everything of yours indestructible for the entire rest of the game. And since you’re running green, you can do this fairly early in the game.
Sure, it’s not really a complex combo, but damn, it’s devastating.
Also, if you’re interested in G/W and you’re okay with a little bit of artifacts, go check out Combo #2: Persistant Little Buggers.

Storm is cool, I can write about it sometime if you guys want.
Let’s see here… 7 werewolves including our mythic, Huntmaster of the Fells. For 4 mana, we can hope that he’s constructed playable. I’ve got high hopes for that one drop werewolf too. Chosen of Markov sounds cool. Maybe it will have some kind of interaction with Sorin? Loyal Cathar sounds like a good guy who goes rouge, and Soul Seizer sounds like some sort of Control Magic effect. There’s NOTHING I hate more in Limtied than Control Magic effects, so I can only hope that this will be a rare.
(( Am I the only one who sees Elbrus, the Binding Blade as a Legendary artifact creature? I love me some Legendary Artifact Creatures!))
Soul Seizer

I want this 0_o

a 2/1 for a [b] ? That I can cast from my graveyard? AWESOME!
And of course, this works with Grimgrin fantastically

I don’t really have a particular favorite, but here are a few that I do like.
There’s combos, then there’s straight up just breaking magic.
